The 3-Pin LDR Light Sensor Module is designed to measure ambient light intensity using a photoresistor (LDR). The resistance of the LDR changes with light — decreasing as light increases and increasing as light decreases.
This behavior can be easily read as an analog signal by Arduino or any other microcontroller. It is a great choice for light-sensitive and automation projects.
Features:
-
Operating Voltage: 3.3V – 5V
-
Output Type: Analog output
-
Compact 3-pin design (VCC, GND, OUT)
-
Adjustable sensitivity (in some versions with potentiometer)
-
Easy to interface with Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi
Applications:
-
Automatic street light systems
-
Light-following robots
-
Smart home lighting
-
Day/night detection
-
Security and automation systems
