3-Pin LDR Light Sensor Module for Arduino

This 3-pin LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensor module detects the intensity of light. Ideal for automatic lighting systems, light-following robots, and smart projects using Arduino or other microcontrollers.

The 3-Pin LDR Light Sensor Module is designed to measure ambient light intensity using a photoresistor (LDR). The resistance of the LDR changes with light — decreasing as light increases and increasing as light decreases.
This behavior can be easily read as an analog signal by Arduino or any other microcontroller. It is a great choice for light-sensitive and automation projects.

Features:

  • Operating Voltage: 3.3V – 5V

  • Output Type: Analog output

  • Compact 3-pin design (VCC, GND, OUT)

  • Adjustable sensitivity (in some versions with potentiometer)

  • Easy to interface with Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi

Applications:

  • Automatic street light systems

  • Light-following robots

  • Smart home lighting

  • Day/night detection

  • Security and automation systems
